Maddie's story

I consider myself an experienced Golden Retriever parent. Over the past 25 years I’ve had four not including Maddie. I recently was separated from my last Golden and after a few months I realized I needed a companion in my life. I’ve rescued before through RAG so I reached out again and when I received that call about ten pups from China needing a home my heart was broken. I was told one was left and my first question was how did the others pick their pups. I was told by pictures. I asked to see the picture of her and agreed to take her. Fast forward to today, Maddie is most certainly the best of all the Goldens I’ve ever had. She is very intelligent, loving, and calm. She learned English quickly, loves to go on car rides, is a great hiker, and is always by my side.
