-- A life saved; it doesn’t matter for how long. When Hoppy’s owner had to move into assisted living, 3 dogs were left alone in the home with a doggy door. The next door neighbor visited them every day to feed them. She found homes for 2 of them but was unable to find one for Hoppy. She was about to decide whether to put him down when a Vet’s daughter called her and told her to call us. She cried when we told her we would take Hoppy.

Hoppy is a very sweet older gentleman that has some health challenges. He has had a paw injury and he will walk on three legs. Because of his injury, he will need to be lifted into the vehicle for Vet appointments. Hoppy, unfortunately, will have an occasional seizure, however those seem to be controlled by medication. He is a sweet boy who gets along with dogs, cats, and knows how to use the dog door. He is looking for a special place to call his forever home. One with no stairs he has to negotiate.
