A Golden Volunteer Opportunity

Dear Golden-loving Members and Supporters:

We know you love coming to our fabulous Rescue A Golden events such as Bark in the Park, Topgolf, and other programs we’ve held in the past. One of the aspects you’ve enjoyed the most is our dazzling array of raffle baskets and items, and you’ve helped us raise much-needed funds through your purchase of raffle tickets. When you take a chance on our raffle, you are giving a Golden Retriever a second chance at life. 

But where do those beautiful raffle items come from, and how did they end up in a gorgeous basket all tied up with a bow? We need YOU to help answer that question. 

Yes, we are seeking motivated and energetic volunteers for our raffle committee to procure a variety of popular items. As a member of this committee, you will be asked to solicit gift cards from restaurants and retail, doggie items, toys and games, housewares, artwork, small appliances, electronics, and tickets to movies or sporting events. We are also looking for a coordinator to record the items collected and keep track of drop-off and pick-up arrangements. 

Have you always wanted to volunteer for our organization but haven’t quite found the right fit? This is a perfect opportunity for you to get involved, have fun along the way, meet new people, and make a difference in a dog’s life.
